The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.Not Known of 2024 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up hearing, there is no appearance for the petitioner. The case is filed as Crime No.Not Known of 2024. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent represents that an FIR has been registered in Cr.No.425 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 296(b), 118(1) and 121(1) of BNS.
