PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in detention order passed in No.05/2024 dated 13.09.2024 as 'Black Marketer" as contemplated under Sec 3(2) (b) r/w Section 3(1) of the prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act No.7 of 1980) on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the person or body of my son Thiru.Thulasiraman @ Ramapuram Sathish, aged 35 years, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.(D)No.278, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department dated 25.10.2024.
Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
