Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to directing the respondent the 4th respondent to register the case and conduct investigation on the basis of the report filed by the Tasildhar in his proceedings No.906/TOO/LG/FS/2014/378 dated 11.07.2014.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to register the case and conduct investigation on the basis of the report filed by the Tasildhar in his proceedings No.906/TOO/LG/FS/2014/378 dated 11.07.2014.

The petitioner seeks direction to the fourth respondent to register the case and conduct investigation. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the said prayer cannot be considered now. However, on the basis of the report of the second respondent dated 11.07.2014, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint before the concerned jurisdictional police station within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and on receipt of the same, the concerned jurisdictional police station is directed to enquire into the matter and pass orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
