ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2016.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the informer to the Revenue Intelligence and he has informed about so many illegal activities to them. Likewise, he has given a vital information on 21.06.2015, for which, reward has not been granted to him. Hence, he made a representation to the respondent for granting reward, but the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Sundareswaran, learned Central Government Senior Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that even before the filing of this writ petition, the representation filed by the petitioner was considered and on 02.06.2016, the respondent has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Without challenging the same, the petitioner cannot maintain the writ petition. 2/4
4. Considering the fact that already the petitioner's representation has been considered and order of rejection has also been passed, the petitioner cannot maintain the writ petition. If at all the petitioner has any grievance against the order, he can very well challenge the same.
5. With the above observation, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the respondent, dated 02.06.2016, if so advice and the respondent is directed to furnish the copy of the said order to the petitioner.
