Prayer:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the First Respondent in Letter No. 66858/CMPC/2013-2 dated 22.08.2014 and quash the same and forbear the Third Respondent from issuing any direction to the Fifth Respondent based on the letter of the First Respondent having reference Letter No. 66858/CMPC/2013-2 dated 22.08.2014 to recover the differential scale of pay, grade pay and allowances paid to the Petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that he has no instructions from the Petitioner and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. There does not appear to be any useful purpose being served in keeping the Writ Petition pending indefinitely.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. It is made clear that the Petitioner is not precluded from applying for revival of the Writ Petition in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
