(Order of the Court was made by S.Manikumar, J) Instant writ petition has been filed, to direct the respondents 1, 2 and 4, not to grant licenses, to allow liquor vends, for the sale of liquor in Vandimedu or Jallimedu Road, in S.No.546, Odendurai Village, Mettupalayam Taluk, Coimbatore District.
2. District Revenue Officer, Senior Regional Manager, TASMAC Limited, Coimbatore, second respondent has filed a counter affidavit.
3. Mr.K. Sathish Kumar, learned Standing counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that there is no proposal to locate Tasmac shop, as alleged.
4. Placing on record the above, there is no need to issue any writ of mandamus, as prayed for. According, writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
