O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 18.09.2024 preferred by the petitioner.
2. Mr.LSM.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner is that, for the purpose of establishing a Coconut shell based steam activated carbon manufacturing unit at Ponnapuram Village, Tiruppur, the petitioner company purchased the properties comprised in S.F.Nos.1110/1, 1110/2, 1111/A2, 1111/B2, 1111/A1 & 1111/B1, measuring an extent of 7.06 acres, 3.41 acres, 1.29 acres and 17.41 acres respectively, vide registered Sale deeds all dated 15.07.2023 bearing Doc.Nos.7135 to 7138 of 2023 respectively. Thereafter, the petitioner company registered its new green field project with the Guidance Tamilnadu MSME Single Window Portal with common application Page No.2 of 5
form No.126370 dated 06.06.2023 and the petitioner company applied and received all the mandatory clearances through Tamil Nadu Single Window Portal from various departments to complete setting up of the project at S.F.No.1110/1 and also obtained necessary approval and consent for operating the same and thereafter, applied for Industrial License, vide application dated 20.06.2024 bearing No.126370-197761. While so, the Block Development Officer, Dharapuram Panchayat Union sent a letter to the petitioner company stating that the petitioner's application for Industrial License has been rejected in Ref.No.1885/2024/A2 dated 09.09.2024 based on the complaint received during the Grama Sabha meeting held on 15.08.2024. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the respondent, however, till date, no orders have been passed on the said appeal. Hence, this Writ petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 18.09.2024 preferred by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Page No.3 of 5
respondent submitted that, appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's appeal dated 18.09.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 18.09.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
