Respondent PRAYER : The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to register the sale deed dated 15.06.2023 executed by Jambulingam and Maadhu in favour of the petitioner with respect to the agricultural lands measuring 1.31 acres comprised in S.No.22/3D Nariyanahalli Village, Kaarimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District within the time that may be fixed this Court.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to register the sale deed dated 15.06.2023 executed by Jambulingam and Maadhu in favour of the petitioner with
respect to the agricultural lands, measuring 1.31 acres comprised in S.No.22/3D Nariyanahalli Village, Kaarimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has presented the sale deed dated 15.06.2003 executed by his vandors namely Jambulingam and Maadhu for registration, but the respondent refused to register the said sale deed on the ground that the agreement dated 10.06.2009 had not been cancelled. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has filed his counter and stating that no such sale deed has been presented for registration.
4.From the submission made on either side, it is seen that except the fact that the petitioner has shown the token number, no other material is produced to show that he has presented the document for registration. In
case the petitioner has not presented the document, the petitioner is directed to present the document as per the Rules contemplated under the Registration Act and in case, he presents the document, if the document is otherwise in order, the respondent is directed to consider the same and register it in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
