ORDER

The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey the land comprised in S.Nos.321/3B & 321/4 bearing Patta No.599 to an extent of 2 acres 14 cents situated at Pakkiripalayam Village, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2021 and payment made thereon, within a time frame.

Learned counsel for the writ petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an application for survey of his lands comprised in S.Nos.321/3B and 321/4 bearing Patta No.599, situated at Pakkiripalayam Village, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and he has also paid necessary payment of Rs.800/- through State Bank of India, Chengam, vide payment challan dated 31.08.2021 for the same. Till date, no action is forthcoming from the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court with the above writ petition. 2/5

3.Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, the learned Special Government Pleader has taken notice for the respondents.

4.The respondents are hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2021, after giving due notice to the petitioner and also the adjacent land owners on the boundary sides of the property of the petitioner and also to the rival claimants, if any, conduct enquiry, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible and his application is otherwise in order and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
