This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 17.10.2022 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta that has been granted in favour of one Mr.Loganathan with respect to the subject properties.
2. Heard Mr.J.Jayamalan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.B.Vijay, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.
3. The specific case of the petitioner is that the said Loganathan has fraudulently created certain documents and based on the same, patta was transferred in favour of the said Loganathan. Aggrieved by the same, representation was made by the petitioner before the third 2/4
respondent seeking for cancellation of patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 17.10.2022 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the said Loganathan and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with the representation dated 17.10.2022 and the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
