The petitioner herein seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.295 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) and 25 NDPS Act.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he has been falsely implicated as an accused in this case. Apprehending arrest from the respondent police, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) stated that the petitioner is the 4th accused. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd accused were arrested and from the possession of the 1st accused, 1.200 kgs of ganja had been seized. Sofar as the petitioner is concerned, it is stated that there are four previous cases similar in nature are pending.

gd 4.Taking into consideration all the factors, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
