Heard Mr. R.Srinivasalu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. S.Alagu Gowtham, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the First and Second Respondents, and Mr. S.Balamurugan, Learned Counsel, who takes notice for the Third Respondent, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 25.10.2023 made by the Petitioner to the Respondents to take appropriate action for convening meetings for Vaipoor Panchayat under Section 204(3) and 204(4) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994.

In response, Learned Counsel for the Third Respondent, on instructions, states that an enquiry has taken place against the Petitioner and other ward 2/4

members headed by the Assistant Director, Panchayat, which would be completed within two weeks and report would be sent to the District Collector for passing final orders thereafter. He has also filed a memo to that effect, which is placed on record.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. 20.11.2023 Index: Yes/No NCC: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 31.01.2024.
