The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.127 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 366 of IPC and Sections 6 & 17 of POCSO Act, 2012. The petitioner had been taken into custody on 01.10.2023.

2.It is stated that on 01.09.2023, the defacto complainant had lodged a complaint about missing of the victim child. Thereafter, investigation was done and it was detected that the victim child had been taken by the petitioner to Chennai, where, there was physical relationship between the victim child and the petitioner herein. 3.It is stated that the petitioner was absconding and secured after thirty days at another District.

4.It is stated by the learned Public Prosecutor (Union Territory of Puducherry) for the respondent that A2 is still absconding. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
