By order dated 02.07.2004 in O.P.No.79 of 2004, a succession certificate was issued to the petitioner. Thereafter, by order dated 26.10.2022 in A.No.4673 of 2922, the amendment prayed for by the petitioner in the succession certificate was permitted. By this application, the petitioner seeks issuance of a fresh succession certificate on the ground that the earlier certificate was misplaced.

2. Upon considering the reason set out in the affidavit in support and on being satisfied that the necessary succession duty was paid, this application is allowed as prayed for.
