O R D E R

The petitioners are the driver and the owner of the vehicle. One car bearing Registration No.TN 01 AP 7761 was found 2200kgs of tobacco products, which were seized from the said vehicle on 28.07.2025 during a vehicular check. On seeing the police, the petitioners abandoned the car and fled from the spot.

2. The investigation further reveals that the branded tobacco products were 1/3

being transported from Krishnagiri, a neighbouring State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reiterated the prosecution case and vehemently opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the fact that a huge quantity of contraband has been seized, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
