O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to undergo Live Stock Inspector training course by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 29.10.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Animal Husbandry Assistant in the year 2008 and that he is now working in the said post and he is entitled to be sent for Live Stock Inspector Training, which is a qualification for being considered for further promotion. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has made a representation to the respondent to send him for the training and the same has not been considered and therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Considering the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 29.10.2019 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 29.10.2019 and a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
