The defendant presented this application to condone the delay of 97 days in filing the written statement. Learned counsel for the plaintiff has no serious objection to this application being allowed. Upon examining the affidavit in support and being satisfied that sufficient cause is shown, this application is allowed. Consequently, the Registry is directed to receive the written statement. Both parties submit that this suit is part of two cross suits and, therefore, they request that the other suit, namely, C.S.No.54 of 2018, also be listed.

2. The Registry is directed to list this suit along with C.S.No.54 of 2018 on 10.01.2023.
