O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to pass orders based on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2025, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation dated 19.02.2025 has not been considered by the respondents. According to him, one Ganeshamoorthy has obtained the death certificate of his grandfather fraudulently for the second time in collusion with his relatives which was already been duly registered after his demise. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner had filed a petition before the first respondent and the first
respondent vide his proceedings dated 30.01.2023, had cancelled the second death certificate obtained fraudulently and issued a direction to file a complaint and register a case against the accused, for which, the third respondent, who in turn had directed the fourth respondent to lodge a complaint against the said Ganeshamoorthy before the second respondent and to file a report. Despite such directions, no action has been taken against the accused persons. Hence, the present petition before this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the first respondent had cancelled the forged death certificate of the petitioner's grandfather and also issued directions to the RDO to file complaint and register the case against the accused for which the RDO had issued a proceedings dated 24.03.2023 to the fourth respondent to lodge a complaint and to file a report, there was no action. He further submitted that the petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 19.02.2025 and despite the same, there was inaction on the part of the respondents. Hence, left with no other option, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the above relief.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that enquiry is in process in this case and there may be a direction to the petitioner to co-operate with the enquiry.
6. On an overall perusal of the case reveals that the death certificate of the petitioner's grandfather has been obtained fraudulently for the second time by one Ganeshamoorthy. The respondents shall enquire into the matter and if any offence has been committed by the accused, they shall proceed as per law. The petitioner herein shall appear before the concerned respondent for enquiry.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
