Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a [i] Writ of declaration, declaring Para 4 of Most Important Guidelines regarding seat matrix for MOP UP Counselling issued by the third respondent herein and the consequential admissions of the private respondents 6 to 16 and the non admission of the petitioned herein to 1st year Medical [UG] Course on extraneous reasons and to forthwith pass appropriate order, enabling the admission to the petitioner to the first year MBBS Course for the year 2018 - 19 in the first respondent college on payment of fees as payable for the year 2017-18. [ii] Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the G.O.Ms.No.

36, Chief Secretariat [Health], Puducherry dated 25.08.2017 and para 4 of "Most Important Guidelines Regarding Seat Matrix for MOP up Counselling" issued by the third respondent herein and the admission of the private respondents 6 to 16 to the 1st year M.B.B.S., respondents to allot seat to the petitioner to the first year MBBS Course for the year 2018 - 19 in the first respondent college on payment of fees as payable for the tear 2017 - 18.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to declare that the seat matrix for MOP UP Counselling issued by the third respondent and the consequential admissions of the private respondents 6 to 16 and the non admission of the petitioned herein to 1st year Medical [UG] Course on extraneous reasons as illegal and to forthwith pass appropriate order, enabling the admission to the petitioner to the first year MBBS Course for the year 2018 - 19 in the first respondent college on payment of fees as payable for the year 2017-18 and to quash the proceedings of the third respondent in G.O.Ms.No.36, Chief Secretariat [Health], Puducherry dated 25.08.2017 and Seat Matrix for MOP up Counselling" and to allot seat to the petitioner to the first year 3/6

MBBS Course for the year 2018 - 19 in the first respondent college on payment of fees as payable for the tear 2017 - 18.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that originally, this Writ Petition has been filed seeking admission for first year MBBS Course for the year 2016 - 2017 and hence, prayer sought in the Writ Petition has become infructuous as the admission period sought is already over.

3. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
