PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records, relating to petitioner's son detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 28.09.2024 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings C.No.86/G/IS/Tiruppur City/2024 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's son namely Karmuhilan, aged 30 years, son of Manoharan before this Court and set him at liberty, now petitioner's son detained at For Petitioner : Mr.C.C.Chellappan For Respondents : Mr.R.Muniyapparaj Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7877, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 13.11.2024.

Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
