Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring the Section 4(1)(a) introduced by the Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Amendment Act 13 of 20003 by substituting the III Schedle Part I of the Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974 as ultra vires, arbitrary, illegal, void and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India in so far as it amounts to levy of tax for registration of new vehicle in so far as the vehicle of the petitioner LMV-Motor car (Mahindra Scorpio SLX/2WD/7STR) on 29.10.2004 bearing chassis No.MAITA2bfc 42J79843 and Engine No.BF 44J84616 is concerned.
