Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the 1st respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint dated 07.11.2019.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been laid by the petitioner seeking for police protection.

2. It is represented by the learned Government Advocate that the complaint lodged by the petitioner against the counter petitioners in C.S.R.No.1283 of 2019 has been closed as civil in nature.

3. Further, even as put forth in the petition, the title of the petitioner in respect of the property in issue has not been affirmed in a civil forum in the manner known to law. In such view of the matter, it would not be expedient in the interest of justice to direct the police to intervene in the matter and the same would only lead to unnecessary confusion. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In the light of the abovesaid factors, this Court is not inclined to invoke the jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for granting the relief sought for by the petitioner.

5. In view of the abovesaid factors, the criminal original petition is closed.
