COMMON ORDER This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 28.07.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.15852 to 15854 of 2017.

2. The learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner / workmen submits that this Court vide order dated 28.07.2023, issued a direction in W.P.Nos.15850 to 15855 of 2017 to the respondent / management to reinstate the workmen back into service with 35% back wages to be paid from 29.05.2010 along with continuity of service and all other attendant benefits. Though, pursuant to the order passed by this Court the petitioners in respective petitions were reinstated, however, the management has not paid the 35% backwages. Hence, the respective contempt petitions have been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent that the contemnor appeared before this Court and submitted that 35% backwages have been deposited before the Labour Court and the order passed by this Court has been complied with.

4. Recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, these Contempt Petitions stand closed.
