Learned counsel representing Mr. V.Ajay Kumar, Learned counsel for the respondent / contempt petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that his Senior is not available today to appear before this Court and seeks for adjournment.

The Learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the petitioner / Doordarshan has filed this application to dispense with the personal appearance of
(1) the Director, Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai;
(2) the Director General, Doordarshan, New Delhi;
(3) the Director General, All India Radio, Prasar Bharathi, Broadcasting Corporation of India, New Delhi;
(4) the Chief Engineer (A.I.R. & T.V.) South Zone, Prasar Bharathi, Broadcasting Corporation of India, Chennai and
(5) the Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting New Delhi.
In the affidavit filed in support of the petition in paragraph No. 7, it has
been stated that the order and direction as issued in the writ petition has been complied with and a speaking order dated 29.05.2019 has been passed and communicated to the respondent/contempt petitioner on 12.06.2019.

In the light of the same, the personal appearance of all the above officers is dispensed with, until further orders. 5.
The respondent is at liberty to file counter-affidavit in the sub-application.
