The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.10.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC and subsequently altered to Section 304(2) of IPC in Crime No.193 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The deceased is the own grandfather of the petitioner herein. It is stated that the deceased was in possession of land and he had partitioned them and allotted separate portions to his three sons. The second son had unfortunately died and his share was given to his wife namely, Banumathi and to her daughters. The petitioner herein, who is the son of the third son of the deceased, had illegally entered into the land of Banumathi, which was questioned by the deceased, for which the petitioner had hit the deceased with a stick. As a result, due to his advanced age of 91 years, he had collapsed and died.

3.Let the investigation proceed further. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
