Hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal', on 19.08.2025 (i.e., today). Even today, although the matter was listed under the caption 'for dismissal

caption, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, either through counsel or in person. This clearly shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Therefore, this Court is inclined to dismiss the appeal as default.

Accordingly, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed for non prosecution.
