2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner appeared before this Court and submitted that pursuant to the common order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court in Crl.Appeal.No.2267 of 2023, dated 04.08.2023, he has deposited a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.32 of 2022, before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry. In this regard, deposit receipt has been enclosed.

3. In view of the common order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court in Crl.Appeal.No.2267 of 2023, dated 04.08.2023, the interim bail granted to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31162 of 2022 by order dated 16.12.2022 is made absolute. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.

4. The trial Court is directed to deposit the said amount to any one of the Nationalized Banks, in the form of Fixed Deposit with automatic renewal, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
