When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that as on date, there is no petition or complaint is pending against the petitioner on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even today, the respondent police came to the house of the petitioner in search of the petitioner.

3. Since there is no case or complaint is pending against the petitioner on the file of the respondent police, the respondent police are directed not to unnecessarily harass the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
