O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging G.O.(Ms).No.88 dated 28.7.2023 passed by the 1st respondent as illegal and ultra vires. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Veerasekaran, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Housing Board produced the copy of the affidavit in WP(MD).No.25970 of 2023 which was filed as a public interest litigation in the Madurai Bench. The learned Standing Counsel submitted that even in that writ petition the same Government Order was put to challenge. 3.On comparing the affidavit that was filed in WP(MD).No.25970 of 2023 and the affidavit that has been filed in the present writ petition, it is seen that it is a word by word reproduction of the same averments and same grounds. Virtually the petitioner in this writ petition has copied and pasted the same in the affidavit except the name of the petitioner.

4.It is not necessary for this Court to go into the grounds raised in this writ petition since the matter is already ceased by the Division Bench at Madurai in WP(MD).No.25970 of 2023. Therefore, it is not necessary for a single Judge to go into this issue in this writ petition. The petitioner can await for the final decision to be taken in the writ petition that is pending before the Madurai Bench in WP(MD).No.25970 of 2023. 2/4

5.In the result, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
