ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
2. Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.D.Veerasekaran, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. In view of the consent expressed by the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that on 04.05.2011, her husband died leaving behind the petitioner, her disabled daughter and mother. Whileso, the property situated at No.40, Cox Square Project area, Chindadripet, Chennai - 600 002 was allotted to her vide order dated Page No.2 of 6
30.05.2012. The petitioner's daughter is being provided with Rs.2,000/- as a monthly assistance by the Government and the petitioner is being provided with Rs.1,200/- as widow's assistance and by using the same, she is paying the rent of Rs.2,200/-. However, the 3rd respondent, without any prior notice, revised the rent to a sum of Rs.9,970/-. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation dated 22.07.2025 before the respondents 2 and 3. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.07.2025, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025, on merits and in accordance Page No.3 of 6
with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
