The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of investigation/enquiry.

It is the grievance of the petitioners that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent Police are unnecessarily harassing the petitioners. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, an enquiry has been conducted and that the petitioners were called only for an enquiry. However, now the presence of the petitioners is not required for further enquiry.
