The petitioner is A2 in Crime No.81 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 148, 302, 506(ii), 120B, 449, 34, 109, 201 of IPC and Section 27(3), 25(B)(a) of Arms Act. The petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 12.02.2023.

2.It is stated that there are totally nine accused and A4, A6 and A8 had been granted bail but A1, A2, A3, A5 & A7 are in custody. 3.It is stated that on 12.02.2023, owing to previous enmity, the accused had chased the deceased, who ran into the house of one Pichaimuthu to save himself. But the accused had entered into that house and committed the act of murder. It is clear that the petitioner had been hired for that particular purpose.
