This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection in order to enable the electricity board to give service connection to the petitioner. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that police protection was given and the electric post was erected and the entire process is over.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the service connection is yet to be extended to the petitioner. It is left open to the petitioner to follow it up with the electricity department and insofar as providing police protection is concerned, the purpose has been served. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
