Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel the Sub division and patta wrongly done in T.S.No.885/1A and restore as it was original like 885/A in Kancheepuram Town revenue records on the basis of the Taluk Deputy Inspectors report dated 20.03.2018.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to cancel the subdivision and patta wrongly done in T.S.No.885/1A and restore as it was original like 885/A in Kancheepuram Town revenue records on the basis of the Taluk Deputy Inspector's report dated 20.03.2018.

2. The petitioner submitted application dated 06.08.2014 before the 2nd respondent to cancel the sub-division in respect of the property comprised in T.S.No.885/1A and restore the same as 885/A in the Town Revenue Records on the basis of the Taluk Deputy Inspector's report dated 20.03.2018.

3. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent called for report from the concerned Tahsildar and the report of the Taluk Deputy Inspector dated 20.03.2018 was also received by the 2nd respondent.

4. Considering the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose the application filed by the petitioner dated 06.08.2014, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
