Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2022 sent for rectifying the mistakes occurred during the UDR Scheme in S.F.No.82/2, situated at Kumbalam Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, accordance with law and within a stipulated period.

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2022 sent for rectifying the mistakes occurred during the UDR Scheme in S.F.No.82/2, situated at Kumbalam Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, accordance with law and within a stipulated period.

In respect of the land situated at S.F.No.82/2 at Kuambalam Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, according to the petitioner, patta has been wrongly issued in the name of some third party during the UDR survey and in order to rectify the same, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 07.11.2022. In this regard, since the first respondent is the competent authority to decide the said rectification as claimed by the petitioner, in order to seek for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the said representation submitted by the petitioner dated 07.11.2022, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

Learned Special Government Pleader on instructions would submit that, if at all any such application has been submitted on 07.11.2022 to the 1st respondent the same would be considered and decided after hearing both the petitioner as well as the 2nd and 3rd respondents within a time limit that may be prescribed by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer and having regard to the said stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 07.11.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to both the petitioner as well as the private respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
