The writ petition is filed to direct the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 5.5.2017, to ensure restoration of Electricity Connection in Service No.292-008-623 at Senthil Nagar, Vadamambakkam Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District.

2. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner, however, the learned Standing Counsel for the Electricity Board submitted that since the petitioner's Patta was already cancelled, the petitioner was admitted to be an encroacher and therefore, the electricity connection was disconnection. 2/5

3. Since the petitioner has no Patta for the land in which she obtained electricity connection, she is not entitled to the relief sought for in the petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.

4. With the above observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
