1/4 square feet's based on the petitioner on line application along with survey fee E-Chellan No.20241007013124 dated 07.10.2024 conseqently direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection on the date and time of land survey by the 1st respondent. For Petitioner :

The above Writ Petition has been filed seeking mandamus to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2024 in respect of the survey fee submitted online on 07.10.2024, seeking to survey the petitioner's property measuring an extent of 988 1⁄4 sq.ft., in Survey No.113/1, Block No.4, T.S.No.12, Virugambakkam Gangaiamman Koil St, Chennai - 92.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite making the 2/6
payment on 07.10.2024, the 1st respondent has not proceeded to survey the land in question.
3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.
4. The petitioner who has made the payment on 07.10.2024, submitted his representation on 26.10.2024 and on the very same day filed the Writ Petition. The petitioner is attempting to jump the queue by rushing to the Court without even affording time to the respondents to proceed on his application.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation as per serial number of the applications pending before the 1st respondent. The 1st respondent shall conduct survey of the petition mentioned property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property and the 1st respondent shall, after issuing notice 3/6
to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed.
