The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to restore the electricity connection by considering the representation dated 24.07.2025.
2.Mr.I.Syed Sibghatulla, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that electricity connection in respect of the petitioner's land was disconnected by the respondents without any intimation to the petitioner alleging that the petitioner had not obtained permission for installing 12-watt battery powered fence and therefore, the same has resulted in the death of an elephant which was found in the petitioner's land. Aggrieved by which, the petitioner made a representation dated 24.07.2025 to the respondents seeking to restore the electricity connection in her land. However, no action has been taken on the same so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 24.07.2025 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on the same in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival parties, if any. No costs.
