[Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.] This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.(c) imposed vide the order dated 16.10.2023 in W.P.No.30132 of 2023, as regards the cost of escort provided to the convict prisoner while granting leave.

2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to modify the said condition by specifying the amount to be paid by the petitioner or detenu towards cost of escort. 3.Accordingly, condition No.(c) in Para No.5 of the order, dated 16.10.2023, in W.P.No.30132 of 2023, insofar as the cost of escort is concerned, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) to the credit of PCB account, within a period of one week from the date of this order, coupled with a letter to enable the respondents to withdraw the said amount of Rs.20,000/- towards cost of escort. This petition is ordered in the above terms.
