Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 2nd respondent in M.A.13 VA.THU.NA.KA.No. R4/2015 dated 20.08.2015, quash the same as illegal, incompetent and wholly without jurisdiction and consequently direct the respondents to mutate the property assessment in the petitioners name in property tax. The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in M.A.13 VA.THU.NA.KA.No. R4/2014 dated 20.08.2015, quash the same as illegal, incompetent and wholly without jurisdiction and consequently direct the respondents to mutate the property assessment in the petitioners name in property tax.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioners for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioners was given effect and therefore nothing survives for adjudication in the present present writ petition.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition are closed. No costs.
