2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. This petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to correct his father's name in his Birth Certificate. The correct name of his father is Abour Rahime. Unfortunately, in his Birth Certificate, it has been given as "mg;Jy; ufPk; ".

4. In this connection, the petitioner has given a representation dated 25.10.2019 to the 1st respondent namely, The Thasildar, (Registrar of Birth-Death), Office of the Thasidar, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District. The said Officer is requested to issue notice to the petitioner and pass necessary order after due enquiry, on or before 10.01.2020.

5. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
