This writ petition is of the year 2017. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.
2. The petitioners have filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus, to direct 3/8
the first to third respondents to conduct a proper open and lawful selection from the Erode District Amateur Kabadi Association for the junior men's kabadi team to participate in the State Level Kabadi Tournament to be held by the third respondent and the Salem Amateur Kabadi Association at Sangagiri from 28.09.2017 to 30.09.2017 and to refrain from permitting any privately selected team from Erode District to participate in the tournament.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent submitted that this writ petition has become infructuous, as the relief sought for pertains to the Kabadi Tournament held between 28.09.2017 to 30.09.2017 and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 27.10.2022 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-Speaking Order arb 4/8
