The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 296(b), 85, 316(2) of BNS (294(b), 498(A), 406 of IPC )and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.Not known of 2025, seek anticipatory bail. 1/4
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that due to matrimonial dispute, the complaint received against these petitioners and the same is under enquiry in C.S.R.No.207 of 2025. He further submitted that if the petitioners are cooperate with the investigation, there is no need to apprehension of arrest
3. Considering the nature of the complaint, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners herein to participate in the enquiry on receipt of the summon and cooperate for the investigation. If the petitioners cooperate with the enquiry, the respondent police shall complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of two weeks from today. No coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners unless and until any serious cognizable offence is made out. 03.09.2025 Vv 2/4
