ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders in petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2023 based on the order of the 1st respondent dated 03.06.2025. 2.The petitioner states that she, along with the other Ward Members of the Panchamadevi Village Panchayats, Panchamadevi, P.Villanur, Villupuram, had filed statutory appeal before the Secretary to the Government challenging the order of District Collecter dated 25.07.2024. Earlier, the petitioner moved a writ petition before this Court in W.P. No.36280 of 2024, wherein, by order dated 17.12.2024, this Court directed the first respondent to pass orders within a period of four weeks.

3. It is stated that in compliance with the order of the High Court, the first respondent served notice on the petitioner and co-applicants. They had 2/5

also given their explanation. Thereafter, the first respondent by order dated 03.06.2025 set aside the order of the District Collector and directed the second respondent to pass order a fresh. Though this order was passed in June 2025 and the tenure of the elected office bearers is coming to an end shortly, the second respondent has not evinced any interest in passing orders on the same.

4. Mr.M.Shajahan, learned Special Government Pleader states that he will give appropriate instructions to the second respondent to complete the process within a period of two weeks.

5.The statement of the learned special Government Pleader is recorded . This Court directs the second respondent to pass an order on or before 03.10.2025.

6.Accordingly, the writ petition is ordered. No costs. Call the writ petition for compliance on 08.10.2025.
