The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 120(b), 406 & 420 of IPC in Cr.No.302 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the other accused persons have cheated the De-facto complainant for a sum of Rs.11,00,000/- under the guise of selling a property through online advertisement, which resulted in registration of present FIR before the law enforcing agency.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. T.V.THAMILSELVI,J.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner for the offences similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the fact that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner for the offences similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
