There is no representation for the Petitioner when the matter is called at 4.00 p.m. today. It was informed during the earlier hearing by Mr. K.L.Sekar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner had earlier collected the case bundle from him with consent for change of vakalat and would engage another Counsel and he has filed a memo dated 08.02.2022 to that effect, which has been placed on record. It has been informed by the Registry that no one else has entered appearance on behalf of the Petitioner in the matter till date. In such circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution with a clarification that the Petitioner is not precluded from applying for revival of the Writ Petition, if necessary, in accordance with law. No costs.
