The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 555 days in filing this criminal appeal against the order dated 16.09.2021 made in S.T.C.No.805 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvotriyur.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit in support of the petition and considering the inordinate delay, this Court considers it appropriate to allow this petition on payment of costs.
