ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The learned Special Government Pleader for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Villupuram Municipality would submit
that the temple on the middle of the road was removed. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the encroachers are identified and alternate lands also have been provided to the encroachers. The learned Additional Solicitor General of India would submit that railway land is also involved. The learned Special Government Pleader in reply would submit that the property belonging to Southern Railway had been marked and handed over to the railway authorities.
2. The encroachments in the railway property are to be removed by the competent authorities by following the procedures. It is needless to state that the railway authorities shall seek the assistance of the jurisdictional police and revenue authorities for the purpose of evicting the encroachers from the railway property. With this observation, the contempt petition stands closed.
