ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in the First Information Report registered in Crime No.407 of 2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side], on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case in Crime No.407 of 2022 has been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 506(i), 420 of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.

3. He further submitted that the investigation is almost over and the respondent will be filing the final report within a period of two months. 2/4

4. In view of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent, there shall be a direction to the respondent to file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
