ORDER

The Civil Revision Petitioner seeks for expeditious disposal of the suit in O.S.No.35 of 2019 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court at Arakkonam.

2. When the matter came up for admission, I called for a report from the learned District Munsif, Arakkonam as to how long he would require to dispose of the suit. The learned Judge sent a report saying that he is

currently posted as Judicial Magistrate No.I, Arakkonam and also holding V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN, J.

KST additional charge of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Arakkonam. He states that he is taking up civil cases on every Thursday. He points out that the suit was posted for hearing on 22.11.2024 and on account of the non-cooperation of the parties, he is not able to proceed expeditiously in the matter.

3. Learned counsel for the civil revision petitioner / defendant states that he will cooperate for trial.

4. Taking into consideration the report and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner the learned District Munsif, Arakkonam is directed to dispose of O.S.No.35 of 2019, which is pending for more than five years, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
